Asian Prisoner Support Committee (APSC) provides direct support to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) prisoners and formerly incarcerated API individuals, and also raises awareness about the growing number of APIs being imprisoned, detained, and deported. APSC is part of a large network of social justice groups known as Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality (AACRE). AACRE is a fiscal sponsor that advocates on behalf of the broader Asian American and Pacific Islander community for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial and social injustice.

This grant provides flexible support for APSC to sustain and expand direct services for incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, detained, and deported API people; advocate for impacted community members; and actively partner in coalitions advocating for justice reforms.
