The Communities First Infrastructure Alliance, established by the Communities First Fund, is a partnership of national organizations and community-based organizations which works to transform how federal, state, and local governments invest public dollars in low-wealth and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities by implementing a relationships-first approach to community-driven solutions that center communities’ leadership, innovation, and priorities. This grant provides flexible support for the Communities First Infrastructure Alliance to support the implementation of the historic level of federal funds targeted at infrastructure development in a way that mitigates climate change and reduces inequality.
