The Embodiment Institute is fiscally sponsored by NEO Philanthropy. The Embodiment Institute works to bring nonpartisan political and embodied emotional skills to broader communities and to expand its capacity and practice of just relationships. The Embodiment Institute is a training and research entity serving embodied transformation. They are focused on bringing about relational transformation in their communities through embodied healing and justice.
The grant will help support The Embodiment Institute, including: building and politicizing healing for Black communities by developing and delivering virtual training on embodied emotional capacities; strengthening multi-racial movement through relational skill development; changing the conversation on healing by telling the stories from marginalized communities through multimedia and multidisciplinary approaches; developing a cohort of healing justice practitioners to engage in a multi-year mentorship and capacity-building program; and creating research grounded in the qualitative experiences of resilience, trauma, and healing.
