At the Heising-Simons Foundation, we are proud of the grants and partnerships we develop to advance the issues we care about, and we believe in being transparent about our grantmaking with our partners and the public.

Starting this year, we also want to provide you with quarterly updates on the dollars we have awarded for the year thus far.

In the first quarter of 2019, the Foundation awarded a total of $24,175,750, divided among our five programs as follows:

• Science: $15,126,573
• Climate and Clean Energy: $3,750,000
• Community and Opportunity: $495,412
• Human Rights: $1,805,000
