Camellia Pham is the Director of Board and CEO Initiatives at the Heising-Simons Foundation. She also leads the Youth Housing Initiative, which aims to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness in San Francisco by building a more coordinated, prevention-focused housing system. 

Previously, Camellia held several roles at the Foundation, including Director of Evaluation and Science Program Officer. As a Science Program Officer, she led the design and launch of the 51 Pegasi b Fellowship program and managed portfolios focused on astronomy, astrophysics, climate science, and technology. Before joining the Foundation, she worked at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Earlier in her career, she conducted research focused on global health, with an emphasis on women’s health in developing countries. 

Camellia has served on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Education Fund and the San Carlos Community Foundation. She and her husband also served as foster parents in San Mateo County. 

She is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and completed the strategy and design thinking program at Stanford University.
