“Tamir Kalifa’s gift is his ability to cover the aftermath of tragedy with an unusual degree of intimacy and tenderness, long after the normal news cycle ends. His commitment to the children and families in Uvalde is palpable in the way he captures what it means for them to come together and make meaning out of loss.”
