California Education Partners (Ed Partners) was founded in 2010 to connect administrators, principals, teachers, and families to remove unfair barriers standing in the way of student success. Ed Partners provides support for districts to tap the insight and expertise of professionals working in their systems to surface solutions to set up students to thrive.

This grant is for the Pre-K to 3 Coherence Collaboration (P3CC), which partners with California school districts to improve the continuity and alignment between their preschool and TK-12 programs. P3CC focuses on the earliest years of education and on California’s increasingly multilingual students. Using Ed Partners’ collaborative, continuous improvement model, districts build a network of powerful educators who can provide the effective math and literacy learning experiences that result in confident and curious thinkers. With California’s new commitment to universal transitional kindergarten, the P3CC project will inform efforts throughout California to accelerate student achievement through effective, coherent education from preschool through third grade.
