The Center on Race & Digital Justice (CRDJ) exists as a nexus that grounds and inspires research, action, and care. Its mission is to strengthen a community of academic researchers, leaders, and practitioners operating at the intersection of data, technology, power, and racial justice. CRDJ’s work cultivates accountability, drives equity, and seeks to contribute to the restoration and expansion of civil, sovereign, and human rights that are threatened by digitally networked systems of power and control. CRDJ is a project of Code for Science & Society, a fiscal sponsor that promotes technology initiatives that are equitable, open-source, and sustainable to advance global access to information.

This grant is for the Center on Race & Digital Justice.
