Climate Central is an independent organization that brings together leading scientists and journalists to research and report the facts about our changing climate and its impact on the public. Climate Central’s scientists publish – and its journalists report on – climate science, energy, and sea level rise.

This grant helps Climate Central’s Climate Matters program assist more than 1,000 TV meteorologists (about half of all those in the nation) and more than 800 journalists in the U.S. to communicate about climate change, and the advances the Realtime Climate project, which enables these trusted spokespersons to cover local connections between weather, news, and climate in real-time.
