The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) was established in 2005 to provide unbiased research and technical analysis on transportation for environmental regulators globally at the national, state, and local levels. Its goal is to achieve a zero-emissions transportation sector, worldwide, early in the second half of this century.

This grant provides general support for ICCT to conduct research and technical analysis on environmental regulations for light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, aviation, and international maritime shipping.
