Sarah Lerner is a program associate for the Education program at the Heising-Simons Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2017, Sarah served as executive assistant to the founder and CEO of Innovation: Africa, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing innovative solar and water technology to rural African villages. Her prior experiences include the management of customized curricula designed to support international refugee educational programming, as well as nonprofit resource development. Sarah received a master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology with a minor in education from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
